Tin Roof Cafe is a family owned and operated business located in the tiny town of Erin, Ontario since August 2015. We are so thankful everyday that we have the opportunity to do what we love — bake tasty treats and brew great coffee — for the community we love. At Tin Roof you will find locally roasted coffee along with a selection of rotating cookies, squares and other goodies baked from scratch in house. We put our hearts into our baking and only use high quality, wholesome ingredients like unbleached wheat flour, whole grain flours, real butter, local maple syrup and a number of gluten-friendly alternatives like coconut, oat, brown rice and almond flour.
Rachel and Brady first met while working at a coffee shop that once existed where the Tin Roof is today. Their passion for coffee was first ignited with a love for the close-knit community of Erin, Ontario. They developed their skills as barista's and began to imagine a similar dream to one day open a cafe of their very own. Fast forward two years later, after the beloved coffee shop they worked at had closed its doors for good and the couple began to brainstorm business ideas.
they always returned to the same space that first brought them together. And so, the creative juices began to flow and Rachel set to work testing and trying recipe after recipe. Fast forward a year later to the first year anniversary of the cafe and Brady proposed to Rachel in the very spot they had first met. Today, they continue to work together with their ever-growing team along with occasional help from their loveable gooldendoodle, Biscotti (who actually prefers eating peanut butter cookies).
